Can't wait to play. Does anyone know if blizzard has addressed forum trades as being legit or is that a no go?

I'm not sure if there's anything they could do about it anyway.

What they've done is implement the in game Auction House, which would be quite an incentive to no longer utilize fan forums for trades. Unless there are serious issues with the mechanism with which they've implemented the AH of course.

Because they're not only going to allow real money trades, but apparently they're going to facilitate and mediate such transactions.

Curiously, when one considers the kind of money people paid for elite items in D2, that they're still 10 years later paying for said items, people could literally make D3 a full-time job. Running multi-accounts in conjunction with hordes of bots.......a fella could do real well makin scratch and in a safe, risk-free manner.

The beta was alot of fun and also extremely limited, you can only play through the hour worth of content with each class so many times before you burn out. So now all there is left to do is wait, I don't think anyone should be disappointed in the final product.

The amount of items listed on the AH in the beta is very large, almost overwhelming...so I can only imagine how truly overwhelming it will be after release. The AH does have a very powerful search tool which allows you to narrow your results to exactly what you are looking for. I could see sellers 'advertising' their tradelists on the forums to get more exposure though and doing the transactions through the AH.
