Pete Posted November 4, 2007 Report Share Posted November 4, 2007 The total of the number squared next to each other ( like 5 and 6, 3-4, etc ) is equal to 113 Alright so i know the answer is 8 and 7 but i dunno the algebric way of finding this shit What i did is 113 = x^2 + (x +1 )^2 113 = 2x^2 + 1 2x^2 -112 = 0 Help?
