foxshox
What do you mean bottle water being bad?.. all it is, is tap water put into bottles and marketed.
Bape.
i did this for geography i'll have to find a list of resources i used. but basically the main point is that the plastic can leak into the water and cause harmful diseases. one example is the huge water jugs people use at work http://www.thisland.uiuc.edu/57ways/57ways_40.html <-- university resource http://www.extension.iastate.edu/Publications/PM1813.pdf <-- university resource http://www.elmhurst.edu/~chm/onlcourse/safewater.html <-- samething as the other two. Jager
hmm, when i say articles i mean magazine/newspaper/encyclopedia but those are decent..i'll ask the teacher if internet articles are ok too.. Just a quick question... If you're asking for help over an internet website wouldn't you expect people to give you website articles and internet stuff. I mean if you're looking for physical articles and books then this is the wrong place to ask for stuff like that. Might I suggest the library. blade85
Use your school databases Jstor, EbscoHost, Galenet? If ur school doesnt have it, use the public library's. you just have to put ur barcode and pin and u can use it. Idk if candadian libraries have it though lol Jstor - Articles (mainly) Ebscohost- Articles, Book reviews/segments Galenet - Not sure, i think its newspapers though

Seto
theres not much really right now, maybe more books and if someone could give me 3-4 of each pro/con points i could write about it'd be helpful so far i know is Pro for bottled water is bad is: -Plastic leaks into water -bottled water can be tampered with if you dont know where ur getting it from -bottled water produces more garbage con points: -its good for places that dont have much fresh/clean water -convient - healthier then alternatives. uhh thats about all the points and stuff i know ..if anyone could gimme more i'd appretiate it. Bape.
also research the bottom of the plastic bottles. you know the little triangle thing with a number in it? tells you the grade of the plastic. some higher grades like the water jug ones offices use is a type of plastic that has some traces of chemicals used in birth control. O.o pro: because of bottled water a lot of water could be wasted ex. a person can drink half a bottle and just throw away the rest in a garbage can con: healthier than soda ex. if we took out bottled water from stores the other alternative would mostly be soda in cans or bottles even though there is a chance that bottled water could be harmful because of plastic leaking. in the long around it is still better than the other alternatives.
