haha its nice but

45 + 60 + 20 + 20 = 145 =(

i think you need 170 to hit max jab frame =( wish it had even 10 base ias.

45 helm + 60 armor + 20 gloves + 20 ammulet = 145

++++ 15 shield. = 160.

Add Nos Coil as belt.

4fpa jab. or use a Jewelers Shield of Deflecting instead of Nos/SS and switch for a COA and Dungos.

Also IK gloves and another IK item adds 25.

5fps is the way to go with jabbers honestly, that way you can use fort and get 50% DR.

if i wanted the 170% ias BP i would use

160/60 armor

30%ias on helm

20%ias highlords

20%ias cb/2passive/str-dex gloves

2xBer/80-30 JMOD

31%DR/4frame jab

i have that setup to use and it works well against barbs and druids but i use a different jav when fighting them because i need higher damage.

I would also use a different javelin on most occasion when fighting barbs/druids

It is sad that the mat jav doesn't have the 10%ias i was ISO but it's fine without it. I do 10x better with 5frames then i would have thought. With 5 frames on the mat jav I get to use Draculs so I can use tap, I hit around 26k AR without angelics, and I hit 50%DR.

If it had 40% ias I'd be able to use 16060 JMOD, fort, my 2 socket zon circ, and hit 4 frames, which would be hitting about 6.5k like a pallies zeal. But I'd only have 15% DR from Dungo's.

Ideally, for the perfect (in my opinion) possible build for pvp versus barbs/pallies, I would have to have a Styg. Pilum with 300%ED/40%ias/Fools eth rep. Then I could use the pilum, highlords, a rare circlet with 2x 40-15ias jewels then have the 5frame BP. That would mean I could use draculs, and use the stormshield I have with 27%ED/8str/9dex/7FHR instead of a 40-15 one, and still have 50% DR.

That or have a mat jav with 40%ias/fools/300%ED, which I would pay so much for...

40%jav - mat jav

45%helm - 120/45 30+dex tiara

20%ammy - highlords

45%shield - 120/45 Ber'd JMOD

20%gloves - crafted gloves

That would make out to be 4 frames, using fort and the most ED possible on a 4 frame build, but also with only 23%DR. I would try it because it would be fun but not as effective. The best I could do with it though is use the extra ias to switch out helms and jewels and such to try different builds. I could also use angelics and dracul's and still hit 5 frames.

In summary:

The 10% ias that someone was saying the mat jav is missing is really miniscule because going for the 4 frame build isn't worth it. I've done it and yes there's a BIG difference in damage and the speed; I use it on occasion because it works better against druids and barbs with lower FHR in my opinion, but it overall is not as good as the 5 frame builds. You cannot get 4 frames and 50% DR on a jabber. It's a sad fact of life. But Jabbers NEED that 50%DR to survive in melee for the most part.

The above is also only speaking in terms of builds requiring the Fools mod. Sometimes it is not needed, like for lower defense barbs and druids. I use my non-fools jav in cases like those and use a 4 frame build most of the time.

For the ultimate non-fools build?

40%ias/450%ED/repair ethereal balrog spear (600+one hand damage i think) - much higher min dmg than styg.

fortitude

Stormshield with 30%ED/9+str/9+dex/AR mod

Highlords

20%ias/2+passives/10%CB/15+STR/15+dex gloves

15/40 Dungoes

120/45 30+Dex tiara

I made one on open with everything perfect (perfect within reason, as perfect as characters online can get, the jav had 288%ED and the charms weren't all perfect), and she had around 5k min damage with 9.7k max. I think she had pretty decent AR as well, around 17k.
